Required Details
To use the calculator, input:
Airflow requirement (m3/s)
Density of Air (kg/m3)
Duct Length (m) set as hood length for cooling tower fans usually 2 to 3meters, for other applications set as per the outlet duct length
Maximum velocity of outside Air (m/s). Maximum velocity is the outside air velocity where the fan discharge duct is directing air. For open to atmosphere it can be maximum velocity during a windy day.
